Sculptures (+study drawings)

My search has often been for the distance necessary to approach the subject of my work which has its origins in my own experience and which would otherwise have been too close: my personal journey in Palestine,in Rwanda, in Somalia, conflict zones, in Kenya with marginalized groups,  all this has forced me to create a displacement, geographically and emotionally. I am not attached to a given, historical place in romantic fashion, rather I constructs places by mean of my work and as a way to 'deal' with the unacceptable.
